Submissions should not exceed 12 pages in Springer LNCS format, and they will be accomplished through the easychair platform in PDF format.

Accepted papers will be published as Springer LNCS proceedings. Please, consult the author information page for typesetting guidelines and templates. Usage of LaTeX2e is strongly recommended, using the llncs class. Please, note that contributions incorrectly formatted may delay publication process.springer

Submission of Special Sessions proposals

Special Sessions will be a very useful tool in order to complement the regular program with new and emerging topics of particular interest for the participating community.

Special Sessions that focus on multi-disciplinary and transversal aspects, as well as cutting-edge topics are especially encouraged and welcome.

Prospective organizers of special sessions should submit proposals indicating:

1.- Title of the proposed session.

2.- Motivation and objectives for the session.

3.- Short biography of the organizer: complete address and additional data for contact.

Proposals should be sent by e-mail, without specific format to the email of the conference IWANN@ugr.es with the subject “Special Session Proposal”.

Topics

For papers not submitted to a Special Session, its main topic must be chosen from the following list, which will be considered as orientative and never as a limitation.

  1. Mathematical and theoretical methods in computational intelligence
  2. Deep Learning
  3. Learning and adaptation
  4. Emulation of cognitive functions
  5. Bio-inspired systems and neuro-engineering
  6. Advanced topics in computational intelligence
  7. Applications in artificial intelligence
